Gardeners At St. Philomena (GASP) will be having their Spring Planting Day on Saturday, May 19, beginning at 9:00am.

Joel Phelps will be ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, May 26, at 10:30am at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Peoria.  A bus will be available for $17 per person for those interested in attending the ordination.  The bus is available on a first-come first serve basis and there are only a few seats left, so if you are intrested, please contact the parish office as soon as possible.

Fr. Joel Phelps will be saying his first Mass at St. Philomena on Sunday, May 27, at 11:30am.  A reception will follow in the parish hall.  Please call the parish office to RSVP to the reception.

The Parish Office will be closed on Monday, May 28, in observance of Memorial Day.

Life Line Screening will be held Thursday, June 28.  Screenings offered:  Stroke/Carotid Artery Screening, Heart Rhythm Screening, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening, Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening, and Osteoporosis Risk Assessment.  By signing up now, not only will you be able to receive $10 off, but St. Philomena Church will also receive a $10 donation for every member who signs up and attends this Life Line Screening event.  To register, call 1-800-897-9177 x1777 or email ltrost@llsa.com.
